简介
与失明的国宝级篆刻家父亲（权海骁 饰）相依为命的林东焕（朴正民 饰），某天接到一通电话，40年前失踪的母亲突然出现。未曾谋面的她回来了，以骸骨的模样。
为找出真相四处探访，听到的却都是同一句话：“她长得很丑。”
从引人入胜的谋杀谜案开始，逐渐转向一条充满绝望的曲折道路，最终导向令人不安的结局，剧情令人深感不安。导演延相昊在电影中很早就揭示了故事的底牌，所以情节的转折并不出人意料。观众会希望并祈祷这些伏笔只是一个巧妙的误导，慢慢指向真正可怕的结局。然而剧情发展并非如此，这种剧情引导导致了一个令人痛苦的结局，在影片结束后仍久久萦绕在观众心头。
